About the Authors: Ronald F. Boisvert leads the Mathematical and Computational Sciences Division of the Information Technology Laboratory at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

Elias Houstis was a professor in the Computer Science Department of Purdue University and Computer Engineering and Informatics department at University of Patras-Greece. He was also the Director of the Computational Science & Engineering Program at Purdue University.
