- Book 1 of 5: Computers Made Simple Series
You don’t need to be “good with technology.”
You don’t need prior experience.
And you certainly don’t need to struggle through confusing instructions that leave you more frustrated than when you started.
What you need is a clear, simple path—and that is exactly what this book gives you.
If you have ever sat in front of a computer unsure of what to do next…
If you have hesitated before clicking, worried you might “spoil something”…
If you have depended on others for tasks you wish you could handle yourself…
This book was written for you.
Why This Book Matters
We live in a world where everyday tasks—sending messages, accessing services, managing personal information—are increasingly done on a computer. Yet many guides assume you already understand the basics. They skip steps, use technical language, and move too fast.
This book does the opposite.
It starts from zero and walks with you, step by step, in plain, simple language—so you can finally understand what you’re doing and why.
What You Will Be Able to Do After Reading
By the time you finish this book, you will no longer feel unsure or dependent. You will be able to:
Use your computer comfortably without second-guessing every step
Move the mouse and type with confidence
Understand what you see on your screen and how to navigate it
Create, save, and organize your files without losing anything
Browse the internet and find exactly what you need
Send and receive emails with ease
Avoid scams, protect your information, and stay safe online
Install and use programs without confusion
Handle common problems calmly without panic
This is not theory. These are real, practical skills you will use every day.
Who This Book Is For
This guide is designed specifically for:
Beginners who are starting from scratch
Seniors who want a patient, easy-to-follow approach
Anyone who feels overwhelmed by technology
Anyone who wants to become independent and confident using a computer
You do not need any prior knowledge. Everything is explained clearly, without jargon or unnecessary complexity.
What Makes This Book Different
This is not a technical manual. It is a confidence-building guide.
Instead of overwhelming you with information, it focuses on what truly matters—helping you understand, practice, and succeed at your own pace.
Every chapter is designed to remove confusion, reduce fear, and replace uncertainty with clarity. You will not feel rushed. You will not feel lost. You will feel guided.
The Real Transformation
This book is not just about learning to use a computer. It is about changing how you feel when you sit in front of one.
From hesitation to confidence
From confusion to clarity
From depending on others to doing things on your own
That shift is what makes this book valuable.
If You’ve Been Waiting for the Right Time to Learn… This Is It
You don’t need to keep avoiding it.
You don’t need to keep asking for help.
You don’t need to feel left behind any longer.
Everything you need to get started—and to succeed—is inside this book.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
