About the Author: Carl French is director of Facture International Ltd, a specialist consultancy and software company. He has worked in the financial sector of the computer industry for a number of years, where most recently he has played a leading role in the modernisation of IT systems and services. Prior to his work in the computer industry he was a Principal Lecturer in Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire, following several years¿ experience on a wide variety of computer courses.
