In LC Hayden's latest female sleuth novel, ILL Conceived, the past and present converge as Aimee Brent tries to solve the murder of young Lauri Evans and comes smack up against the secret of her own mother's brutal death. The surprise ending is a shocker. Great suspense and mystery!
Mike Befeler, author of The V V Agency and Care Homes Are Murder
This book makes a great collection to the romance mystery series that feature women sleuths. Thoroughly enjoyed reading it. Recommend this journalism mystery for anyone who wants to escape for a weekend.
