This book is bound in a vellum skin, no boards. There is some rubbing and very light spotting of the covers. Faint notation upper edge of front cover, title is inked in dark brown on corded spine. The foot of the spine section has been bumped, causing some damage to the hand sewn headband. Upper headband remains quite good. Vellum of both covers showing slight warping with age, characteristic of this binding material. Evidence of closure ties that are missing from both covers. Ownership markings {in four seperate hands} inked in dark brown on fep. Interior text has darkened with age, some spotting and staining. 682 pages of text, binding tight.
