Concurrent Solar Cells. Vol. 1: A Modern and Smart Approach for Energy Harvesting

Sustainability and adaptability is a modern approach to smart living. With every new step of life, one has to adapt accordingly. Energy is required in every aspect of life. Fossil fuels at present are the major source of providing energy for the world. The current technology should be upgraded in accordance with the resources available and with the present situation of the society in the contemporary world. The depleting fossil fuels and increasing risk of global warming all are indicating towards for an alternate energy source. Switching towards or upgrading for sustainable and renewable energy sources is the best suited for today’s requirements. There are various sources of renewable energy, the Solar energy seems promising of all as it is evenly distributed to every part of the world. The Dye-Sensitized Solar Cells, a modern approach of harnessing solar energy is an efficient method and design for energy harvesting. which not yield higher efficiency but also lower cost when compared to various other solar cells currently in the market.
