Conditional Offer (Stewart Realty)

She barely survived an abuser and has no reason to trust any man...He is the one man who can convince her otherwise.

Craig has spent years floating through life on cruise control, working directionless jobs, playing in a band, and entertaining a string of older women in his bed. He thought he'd found true love with a beautiful fellow real estate agent. But his sense of failure is only reinforced when he realizes her heart belongs to another man.

When Suzanne, a woman fighting her own demons from an abusive marriage, serves him a beer at her brewery's tap room, that chance encounter snaps Craig's hazy existence into crystal-clear focus. Their attraction is explosive and erotic, and she wants to keep it that way-only physical. But he has other ideas, and refuses to listen to her excuses about their age difference or her relationship baggage.

He understands that she needs him to go slow, to let her get used to the concept that a man could love her, but that goes against every impulse in him to prove he's the one who can help her heal. Emotions and angst run as hot as the sex, but by the time she finally figures out what she's got with him, it may be too late.
