The Conditions Which Modify the Characters of Inflammations of the Skin, and Their Influence on Treatment is the published text of the prestigious Lettsomian Lectures delivered by H. Radcliffe-Crocker at the Medical Society of London on February 16, March 2, and March 16, 1903. Radcliffe-Crocker was Physician for Diseases of the Skin at University College Hospital and held honorary and corresponding memberships in virtually every major dermatological society of the period, including those of America, France, Vienna, Berlin, and Italy - reflecting his standing as one of the leading British dermatologists of his generation. Condition & Binding: The book is bound in period hardcover boards covered in maroon cloth, with the title, author, and credentials stamped in gilt on the front board. Based on the images, the binding appears tight and the boards are in solid shape with light shelf wear at the corners and spine edges. Internally, the paper shows typical age-toning and some foxing/spotting consistent with a book of this age (120+ years), but the text remains crisp and fully legible.…
