The texts of eight papers are included in this book, each written by an academic versed in history on various aspects of the 1848 Revolutions in the Romanian Principalities: "The Unitary Character of the Romanian Revolutions of 1848" by Cornelia Bodea, "The Historical Writings of Mihail Kogalniceanu and the Romanian Revolutions of 1848" by Frederick Kellogg, "The Intellectual Origins of the Romanian 1848 Revolution" by Vlad Georgescu, "The Revolutions of 1848 in the Romanian Revolutionary Tradition" by Stephen Fischer-Galati, "An American Account of the 1848 Romanian Revolutions" by Ian Stanciu, "The Transylvanian Question as seen by the Hungarian National Committee of Defense, September 1848-April 1849" by Istvan Deak, "The British Diplomacy and the Romanian 1848 Revolution" by Radu Florescu, and "The Aftermath, the Effects of the Revolution on the Romanian National Movement until 1878" by Barbara Jelavich. Each paper is printed on different colored "construction-like" paper, on only one side, and the whole thing is held together by a black plastic spiral binding.
