About the Author
Adrian Segar has organized, designed, and facilitated conferences for over 30 years. He is a former elementary particle physicist, information technology consultant, professor of computer science, and co-owner of a solar manufacturing company.
Currently, Adrian consults on conference design, and presents internationally on participant-driven and participation-rich events. His new book, The Power of Participation: Creating Conferences That Deliver Learning, Connection, Engagement, and Action, is a compendium of participation techniques that deliver learning, connection, engagement, and action at any meeting.
Adrian lives in Marlboro (Vermont) and Boston, is active in the non-profit world, and loves to sing and dance.
