(Volume I, Number 1). 8vo. Stiff orange wrappers. 112pp. Illustrations. Very good. First issue of this short-lived triannual devoted to "a vision of education as transformative action," boldly inscribed on the front wrapper by co-editor ROBERT MERIDETH: "For John Beecher, / from whom I have / learned much. / Bob Merideth / 7/14/74." JOHN BEECHER (1904-80) was a noted social protest poet and fine press publisher. Beecher has placed red checkmarks on the contents page alongside Merideth's three contributions to this issue. An unusual association copy.
