It took almost five years of constant research for Dr. Ermal Walden Williamson to write this novel. He has carved out a chunk of Civil War history that will keep the readers wanting more. It is with this same enthusiasm, energy and determination that he has written his fourth book in the Brazos series. If you have not read his first one, Across the Brazos, this novel should make you certainly want to do so.
