The Conquest Trilogy, Book One, The Quest For Freedom

From slave, to soldier, to king...that is Fletcher Rush. A man who craves more than just his freedom; he wants to see the cities of his enemies stained in blood. It won't be enough until every last human is free, and those who shackled them in chains have been eradicated.

For centuries, humans have been enslaved, and hope has long since vanished, but that all changes. The fire that has lain dormant is rekindled, and humanity rallies behind Fletcher. Finding a purpose greater than their lives, no battle is impossible. Humans will reclaim their former glory, and the planet Affer shall once again fear them.

Fear can keep a species enslaved...but it can also bring a planet to its knees.

My writing journey didn't start like many others. I started writing out of boredom, and my early works weren't even worthy of being read. But I enjoyed it. So, I kept writing. Day after day, I would write, and eventually I became better at it. I started putting effort into my work, and what I wrote started to feel like a story. But I still had a long way to go. Finally, after two and a half years, I decided to put my skills to the test and create my magnum opus: Conquest. The concept quickly came to me as I stared at a blank page, and from there I just started writing. The more I wrote, the more ideas flowed through my mind. The world of Conquest is still growing to this day, and I plan to keep it that way until I finish the trilogy.
