Construction Projects and the Power of Design-Build

Design-build is a powerful project delivery approach. Actuating such power however requires special expertise and know-how, and is indeed a trade secret. This is what this book all about. It provides Design-Builders with a tool to manage the Design-Build process effectively and maximize results. This is achieved through an innovative and scientifically validated methodology for delivering Design-Build projects in a safe and controlled manner, namely, the SAFEDB-methodology. The breakthrough methodology acts as a Design Build power actuator running in parallel to the standard Design Build project management effort to enable reaping the full benefit of the Design Build approach and implementing Design Build projects in an effective, safe and controlled manner. Sherif Hashem is a formal co-author of PMI's Project, Program and Portfolio Management global standards. He is a graduate of Alexandria University and holder of a BSc, MSc, and PhD in Civil Engineering. Dr. Hashem has authored numerous papers and articles on design-build and project management published in the United States, Brazil, and the Middle East.
