Construction Technology of Large Diameter Underwater Shield Tunnel (Key Technologies for Tunnel Construction under Complex Geological and Environmental Conditions)

Fanlu Min, Ph.D., associate professor of Hohai University, master tutor, visiting scholar of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, selected as a “big scholar” program at Hohai University. He is mainly engaged in research and teaching of underwater shield tunnels, urban subways, and other aspects. He has presided over 5 vertical projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National 973 Program Sub-project, and presided over or participated in the Nanjing Yangtze River Tunnel, the Nanjing Weisan Road Crossing River Tunnel, the Yangzhou Slender West Lake Tunnel, the South-to-North Water Transfer Middle Line, the Yellow River Tunnel, and the Wuhan River Crossing Subway. More than 10 large-diameter underwater shield tunnels and technological innovations in urban subways. He won the first prize of provincial and ministerial level scientific and technological progress award; authorized 16 invention patents; published 1 monograph; published more than 60 papers, including 30 SCI/EI papers.

Shouhui Wang, professor-level senior engineer, Vice General Manager of Qingdao Metro Group Co., Ltd., Expert of Underground and Tunnel Engineering Technology. Mainly engaged in mountain tunnels, subway tunnels, large diameter river-crossing tunnels, and other technical management and research and development work. He has won the honorary titles of "Excellent Project Manager of Railway Construction Enterprise", "Excellent Project Manager of National Construction", "Labor Model of Central Enterprise" and "May Day Labor Medal" of Jiangsu Province. He has presided over or participated in the construction of major engineering projects such as Qiling Tunnel of Beijing-Kowloon Line, Gulou Underground Tunnel of Nanjing, Banshiling Tunnel of Changbai Highway and Yangtze River Tunnel of Nanjing, and many scientific research achievements have reached the international advanced and domestic leading level. He has won 1 second prize for national scientific and technological progress, 5 first prize for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, 1 second and third prize for provincial and ministerial scientific and technological progress, 1 monograph and more than 10 scientific and technological papers.
