Contemporary Linear Systems Using MATLAB 4.0 (A volume in the PWS BookWare Companion Series)

Enter Strum and Kirks innovative virtual laboratory for the most effective instruction in linear systems or signals and systems. Designed from the ground up to integrate theory with computer solutions using MATLAB, this book redefines linear systems instruction to create a more powerful learning experience. Hundreds of MATLAB scripts on disk support the book, offering a hands-on, interactive environment in which users can change problem values and parameters at will. System Requirements: The text includes both MS-DOS and Macintosh format disks. Both versions require either the Student Edition of MATLAB version 3.5 or the Professional version 3.5.

Professor Robert D. Strum was Professor Emeritus in electrical and computer engineering at the Naval Postgraduate School. A veteran of World War II, Professor Strum later taught at Rose Polytechnic University for ten years. In 1956, he began a master's program at Stanford University and taught at U.S. Postgraduate School in Monterey, California for 33 years. He was also a Senior Fulbright Fellow. He conducted early research into computer assisted instruction, which led to many years of studies and publications. Professor Strum passed away in November 2008.

Dr. Donald E. Kirk is Dean Emeritus of the College of Engineering of San Jose State University.
