Content to Be Good, Called to Be Godly: What to Do When Your Life Is Full, But Your Soul Is Empty

Do you sometimes feel like a “professional Christian?” Do you secretly feel that your soul is starved, but you can't stop your ministry activities long enough to worry about it? Do you have everything you're working for . . . except the joy Jesus promised? In Content to Be Good, Called to Be Godly, Janet Denison challenges committed Christians whose faith has stagnated to rediscover the joy of dependence on the Lord. It encourages and guides Christians to grow beyond well-intentioned but self-motivated lives spent doing “good things” for God and begin investing their time in the Kingdom call of God. With caring guidance and support from someone who's been there, you'll move from a programmed, treadmill walk of faith to the freedom and joy of a God-driven, God-filled life.
