In addition to To Be Continued: An Annotated Guide to Sequels, she is the author of several magazine articles.

HOPE APPLE is a freelance researcher and writer. She is the former head of reference services for the Skokie (Illinois) Public Library, and has nearly 20 years of experience as a reference librarian. She earned her master's degree in library science from Rosary College, River Forest, Illinois and graduated from Northwestern University, Evanston, Illinois, with a B.A. in English literature.
