Hb, vii + 113pp. Good in a Fair, price-clipped dj which has loss on the back and also at base of spine. Inscription on fep which appears to be from the author: " L.L. Whyte from FVM Coquerico 6. ii. 58 ". Narrative combining the author's reminiscences on chess with his proposed modification of the chessboard to 76 squares.
