About the Author
José Manuel Pomares Medrano es titulado en Ciencias Empresariales y analista de datos certificado por Microsoft, inició su camino profesional como consultor independiente y especialista en análisis de costes. Su primer contacto con la formación fue como profesor de dirección financiera en diferentes escuelas de negocio y en 2013 pasó a formar parte del equipo de formadores de habla hispana de lo que hoy es LinkedIn Learning (Microsoft), habiendo grabado en formato vídeo más de 130 cursos sobre sobre temáticas de análisis de datos en Excel, Power Pivot y Power Query y sobre otras aplicaciones del entorno Microsoft. En la actualidad ejerce como formador de Power BI, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX, Excel, VBA y otras aplicaciones Office. Junto con Clara Vega, es coautor del libro 'Control de gestión con Excel y Power Query' y ha sido galardonado por Microsoft con el premio MVP por su liderazgo y contribuciones a la comunidad de usuarios. Habitualmente, crea contenidos audiovisuales y escritos referentes a Power BI, interviniendo como ponente en conferencias y eventos orientados a la comunidad de usuarios y expertos de datos.
