Controlling Your Hormones: Power from Above, Within, and Without (Paperback or Softback)

Controlling Your Hormones presents three fundamental control centers of the body along with two major hormonal forces. As these control centers work in synergy with one another, understanding their function is vital for addressing mental and physical imbalances. Many individuals suffer from chronic stress due to increasing demands from the outer world. However, when the inner control centers of the body are understood and universal self-regulating methods are applied, excess stress can be controlled. Authors Peck, Cassinari, and Gavlick provide historical references presenting the philosophy and science that explain these natural, self-regulating methods.

Research scientist Robert L. Peck explains metaphysical causes and the mystery of their effects as an introduction to understanding the metaphysics that affect individuals. Readers will be able to explore the ancient Greek model of the inner self. This model describes "The Inner Me," "The Feeling and Prudent Me," and "The Physical Me." They facilitate an understanding of how the hormones interface with the three controlling centers of the body. Peck skillfully uses modern terms to describe this ancient allegorical Greek model of an evolving individual.

In Controlling Your Hormones readers will be introduced to the reality that individuals can generate an inner power to control their lives. That is inner power is universal, part of an ancient science, and involves a union of the mind and body. In addition, the muscles and function of the perineum, the control of the body's steroids and neuropeptides, and the effects of direct nipple stimulation (for both sexes.) are explained. Discover your full potential with an understanding of the ancient models of the self. Find more in life. Learn more about you.

Robert L. Peck, a well-recognized scientist in the field of energy conversion and storage, has directed the Personal Development Center for nearly 30 years. While heading a laboratory in Industry, in his off-hours he started teaching a special form of meditation free of charge based upon his translations of ancient Sanskrit documents that he studied to explain his early childhood and later mystical experiences. In exchange for his free teachings, he required students to participate in his exploration of ancient practices that increased an inner energy. He then discovered that the ancient West, like the East, knew of the secrets of inner power, but this knowledge was nearly lost or obscured by biased and misleading translations of old texts. His conclusion was that the universal ancient science had a better knowledge of the nature and control of the inner metaphysical energy of the body than does modern science.

Leslie M. Cassinari is a special area music teacher as well as a concert flutist and yogini. She spends considerable time working to increase the interaction of music, dance, and drama with children as well as adults. She taught adult classes in advanced Yoga, observing the obstacles modern students have with the ancient practices as well as the success within such areas as using the nadam to increase the depth of meditation and using inner abdominal tensioning and the breath to increase inner vitality.

Christine S. Gavlick is a special education teacher working with children with learning and emotional problems. Because of her strong background in languages and philology she is a principal in the work at the Center dealing with translation of the early Tantrik writings into modern Western technology and practice. She became interested in how the inner vital forces could be used to manifest the deep yearnings of individuals that normally get shunted with pressure to please immediate friends and family.
