About the Author

James F. Hollifield is Ora Nixon Arnold Professor of International Political Economy and Director of the Tower Center at Southern Methodist University. His other books include Understanding Global Migration (Stanford, 2022).. Philip L. Martin is Professor Emeritus of Agricultural and Resource Economics and Chair of the University of California Comparative Immigration & Integration Program at the University of California, Davis. Pia M. Orrenius is Vice President and Senior Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. Fran�ois H�ran is Professor at the Coll�ge de France, where he holds the chair in Migrations and Societies.
