In any relationship, there's dialogue, conversation, communion, and fellowship. Our relationship with the One who created us is no different. Just as a baby learns to communicate, so must we learn how to talk and hear the voice of our heavenly Father. It doesn't matter how long it's been since you've spoken, how far away you feel from His presence, any of your past scars, or any of the things you may have done or had done to you-Daddy God just wants relationship with all of His children.

Mary Jo Mayes is a passionate follower of her Lord, Jesus Christ, a devoted wife, and an encouraging mother of four children. Her greatest passion is seeing others come to know Jesus and seeing them learn about and grow in their gifts from the Holy Spirit. Mary Jo is a “connector.” She digs deep into her own relationship with God, learns from experts in the field, and then seeks to connect others with resources and inspiration for their journey. She is called to the ministry of empowering children, beginning with her own, whom she home schools and mentors in their spiritual gifts. She has taught in children's ministry for several years and now leads the youth ministry along with her husband, at gateway:61 in the St. Louis metro area.
