A collection of poems and written works about domestic abuse and how trauma isn’t easily condensed into a neat little box. Sometimes the box has wings, sometimes teeth.

None of the cycles are simple; a lot of them are unappealing to others. I have been abused, and I have been left physically and mentally ill as a result.

These poems were written from a place of severe mental illness and trauma that followed being married to a monster of man and trying to date afterwards.

Questioning whether I was ever going to be free of this constant suffocation of rumination & grief.

It’s gut-wrenching, raw, unfiltered and unhinged. A true reflection of life as an abuse survivor.
