A beautiful facsimile (second) edition of the first cookbook published in Canada by James McFarlane in 1831; author unknown. As new and unread. Interior is clean and unmarked. Unclipped dustjacket has very minor soiling to show, the spine is a bit sunned. Fascinating look at life in Canada almost 200 years ago through the kitchen door.
