Nancy Lantz says she is not a chef, just a foodie who likes to collect recipes and cook. Here she has compiled a collection of her favorite recipes as well as those volunteered from family and friends.

Nancy was born and grew up in northwest Missouri, an area blessed with an abundance of food fresh from the garden. Many of the recipes here use foods readily grown in the Heartland. She said she wanted to share these so others could enjoy them as well.

A nurse by profession, Nancy has been employed by St. Francis Hospital, Maryville, Missouri, for forty years. She comments, Although nursing has been my life, cooking is my pastime. My hope is that you will discover many of your own favorites in this collection.
