About the Authors

A dad of two small boys and married to a teacher of creative writing, Marten has spent almost two decades in the world of story. Through their family-run studio, Merchants of Wow, he's written values-centered titles for Vooks.com, adapted movies for video game platforms, as well as contributed to story development and dialogue for TV's Veggie Tales series and more. Merchants of Wow has several titles in development for children's publishers and not-for-profit organizations -- a true passion of his and his family.

After studying and working for some years as a graphic designer in her hometown of Munich and Brussels, Sonja packed up and moved to Barcelona to study Illustration at the Llotja Arts and Crafts School. Since then, she has become an internationally-acclaimed freelance illustrator and a mother, both of which take her to extraordinary new worlds every day.
