This book from the Coping series introduces Asperger syndrome, a neurological disorder related to autism, taking a look at symptoms, treatments, and the increasing awareness and changing views surrounding it. Two interesting chapters deal with the needs of children with Asperger syndrome and how they are met (or not) in schools. Although the book occasionally seems to address adults, it is one of the first overviews to present what is known in a manner that is accessible to younger readers.
