About the Author

This book is the result of my visiting men in jail who needed rehabilitation. As I helped them learn to find joy in spite of their troubles I developed this approach based on scriptures. After proving its value in discussions with men in rehabilitation I decide to share it with all who desire to use it. I am a retired physician but this book contains no prescriptions or medical advice. It contains spiritual suggestions on how we can follow James' advice in James 1 and Paul's advice in Romans 5. This is not an easy challenge but one in which we can have enough success to find hope and joy when faced with the inevitable losses we all suffer.
