About the Author
Dr. Curtis J. Crawford is President and CEO of XCEO, Inc., a consulting firm specializing in executive leadership and corporate governance. He began his career as a systems engineer at IBM Corp. During his fifteen years at IBM, he held a variety of executive positions including Vice President of Marketing. [br] During a ten year tenure at AT&T Corp and Lucent Technologies, Inc., Dr. Crawford was Group President of the Microelectronics Group and President of the Intellectual Property division. [br] He served as Chairman of the Board of ON Semiconductor Corporation; Chairman, President and CEO of Zilog, Inc.; President, CEO and Board Member of Onix Microsystems, Inc., and Chairman of the Board of ISTAT Corporation. [br] Dr. Crawford currently serves on the Board of Directors of E.I. duPont de Nemours Company, ITT Industries, Inc., ON Semiconductors, and Agilysys Corp. Also, he is Trustee of DePaul University. [br] He previously served on the Board of Directors of Lyondell Petrochemical Company and The Sisters of Mercy Health Corporation. [br] Dr. Crawford earned his Doctor of Philosophy degree (Ph.D.) in Organization and Management.
