A letter sent from one H. Robinson of Waterloo, Ontario, to William H. Williams of Williamsville, Newfane, Vermont, discussing news and decrying the interruption of business "by the calling of our men into military service rendered necessary by the fiendish conduct of American Brigands + Sympathizers who have repeatedly invaded our soil and still threaten to do it again-- how long this state of things will continue the Lord only knows-- if it is not soon put an end to by the American Government a national war will be the consequence of it" (p. [2]). Bifolium (8.75" by 7"). Addressed and postmarked. Very good. Lightly toned with letter creases, short tears. Second leaf chipped.
