Except for the title page, which is detached and tattered at edges, pages are in good condition with age toning and a few light pencil marks in text (no marks on plates). Binding is intact, but very fragile in places; Boards have raw edges all around, and were reinforced with binder's tape at spine and corners, gilt title and decoration on front panel is visible but dulled.Former owner's name and addresses on front paste-down endpaper A well-used copy of this scarce original printing.
