Item description from seller

Lozouet, P.: Muricidae (Gastropoda, Neogastropoda) de l?Oligoc?ne sup?rieur Chattien) du bassin de l?Adour (Sud-Ouest de la France): 3-161. With 68 species, the Muricidae are the most species-rich family of Neogastropoda from the Upper Oligocene of the Aquitaine basin (Adour Basin). Out of these 68 species, 13 species in the genera Attiliosa, Chicoreus, Ponderia, Pterynotus, Purpurellus, Textiliomurex?, Morula (s.l.), Ocenebra, Cymia (s.l.), and Trubatsa are described as new and 12 species could not be named. These 12 species are, for the most part insufficiently preserved to be unequivocally identified. The Muricinae are the best represented with 20 species, followed by the Aspellinae (11 species), , Muricopsinae (10 species), Typhinae (10 species), Ocenebrinae (5 species), Coralliophilinae (5 species), Ergalataxinae (4 species) and Rapaninae (3 species). 42 species are new records for the Upper Oligocene. 27 species (40%) are directly related to species known from the Lower Miocene of Aquitaine but no species is shared with the Lower Oligocene. In addition, 4 new species in the genera Attiliosa, Calotrophon, Cymia (s.l.), and Trubatsa from the Lower Oligocene and 3 new species in the genera Bizetiella, Chicoreus, and Favartia from the Lower Miocene are described. Martinez, A.: Description des conchorhynches des Nautiles (Mollusca, Cephalopoda) du d?but de l ?oc?ne des Corbi?res (Aude - Sud de la France): 163-173. Conchorhynchs, elements of the lower jaw of Nautilus, are reported for the first time from the Eocene of Carbi?res. The study of four specimens allows us to identify 2 species attributed to the genus Conchorhynchus de Blainville, 1827: Conchorhynchus tabellulis n. sp. and Conchorhynchus sp. They come from the early Middle Ilerdian silty marls from the central part of the Carcasonne basin, on the southern and western slopes of the Alaric mountain. Taxonomic and nomenclatural changes on the taxon Filholia turriculata (Boub?e, 1831a) of the Priabonian (Upper Eocene) of Aude are proposed. We fix the nomenclature of Filholia turriculata (Boub?e, 1831a) and Filholia laevolongus Boub?e, 1931b by designating neotypes. Lozouet, P.: Turbinelloidea, Mitroidea, Olivoidea, Babyloniidae et Harpidae (Gastropoda, Neogastropoda) de l Oligoc?ne sup?rieur (Chattien) du bassin de l Adour (Sud-Ouest de lan France - Erratum. New taxa: Attiliosa septaspinosa n. sp., Attiliosa subgretae n. sp., Chicoreus sacyi n. sp., Ponderia chattica n. sp., Pterynotus poustagnacensis n. sp., Purpurellus aquitanicus n. sp., Textiliomurex? problematicus n. sp., Morula (s.l.) duplex n. sp., Ocenebra tarusatensis n. sp., Cymia (s.l.) subcaerulea n. sp., Trubatsa subaturensis n. sp., Bizetiella attiliosaformis n. sp., Attiliosa emilyae n. sp., Chicoreus marcominii n. sp., Calotrophon vaporosus n. sp., Favartia faviai n. sp., Cymia (s.l.) praecaerulea n. sp., Trubatsa larratensis n. sp., Conchorhynchus tabellulis n. sp. 184 pp., 44 plates, num. figs, br. 4.…
