Le Costume Historique.

The book is from the MGM Studio Research Library. The whole cloth spine is missing from the cover, however the binding and pages are still intact and tight. The first page has an inch size piece missing along the lower middle right side edge, and the second page has a quater inch size tear. This volume appears to be the index for the series with descriptions of the plates included in other volumes, a directory and glossary. The title page says.
