About the Author

Matt Hughes was born sixty years ago in Liverpool, England, but his family moved to Canada when he was five. He' has made my living as a writer all of his adult life, first as a journalist, then as a staff speechwriter to the Canadian Ministers of Justice and Environment, and - from 1979 until a few years back - as a freelance corporate and political speechwriter in British Columbia. He is a former director of the Federation of British Columbia Writers and he used to belong to Mensa Canada, but these days he's conserving his energies to write fiction. The author lives in Ireland.

Shipping Terms

Orders normally ship within 2 working days. Items are sent to UK destinations by Royal Mail, MyHermes or other reputable carriers. They are normally sent by Tracked 48 service and carry insurance. A certificate of posting will be obtained and this is available to be viewed by the buyer. Shipping costs are based on books weighing up to 2 KG. (packed), the current Tracked 48 rate for a small packet. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know that an extra shipping payment is required.
Paperbacks and pamphlets etc. which can be sent as large letters will be priced to reflect the lower carriage charge.
The standard carriage charge is currently �3.75 based on a small packet plus an amount for packing materials. Our orders are packed in protective mailers, closed with ECO paper tape and they may possibly be additionally protected with bubble wrap or other plastic padding which can of course be re-used by the purchaser.
