Folio. 30 hand-colored plates plus title page vignette. Title page gives 1817 as publication date, and plates are watermarked 1817, but front pastedown label gives date of 1819. 14.5 by 10.5 inches. 37 by 27 cm. With original publisher's boards and label. Rebacked with matching cloth. Boards are soiled and scuffed, with red surface paper rubbed off along edges and corners. Still attractive binding. Scattered light foxing and soiling within, but overall impression is of clean and fresh. One plate with tiny pinprick hole.

With the postal service, to domestic destinations with lower value items and the automatically furnished ABE shipping quote, we will usually use Media Mail; on higher value items we are partial to Priority or Express Mail. We will always seek to comply with a customer's wishes if they are communicated to us. When we seek additional shipping charges, we pass along those charges at our cost -- we do not add for handling or materials generally.
