Synopsis

Upland Cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) is a major cash crop in the world. Cotton improvement can be accomplished by favorable combination of genes in cotton varieties through hybridization. Additive-dominance model was applied to understand gene action involved in the traits studied. About the Author

At present, he is working as Assistant Research Officer at Vegetable Research Institute, Faisalabad, Pakistan. He completed his M.Sc.(Hons.) in Plant Breeding and Genetics from University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, Pakistan in 2011. During his Masters, he conducted research on cotton crop.
