About this Item

One volume edition. Cover, blue boards with gold lettering on spine. Cover worn and damaged top and bottom of spine. Bumping on corners. Foxing on front and back endpapers. Pages themselves are tanned with odd foxing on a few pages eg pages 84/85. Pages are rough cut, and quite browned on outer edges. Binding is coming loose, most evident between pages 2 and 3, and 698 to 699. Contains 20 black and white illustrations, drawn on wood by M Valentin. 700 pages.
