Synopsis

Frankie Genno is a small-time criminal, a drug dealer with links to some serious players in the Chicago underworld. He has dreams of propelling himself into the big league, dreams which lead him to plan a bank heist. It should be easy money.

Except his girlfriend, Anne Stratton, turns stoolie and Genno ends up behind bars after murdering an off duty cop when the heist goes horribly wrong. Genno dreams of getting revenge on Anne, no matter how long it takes.

Anne is placed in the Witness Protection Program (WITSEC) and relocated to New Orleans, together with a new identity and the chance to start her life over. Seventeen years on, she's now a successful businesswoman, married with a fifteen-year-old daughter.
