Sheet music, 4 leaves, disbound from a volume. Remains of stitching at spine, very good condition. Small circular ink stamp at lower front cover, from a Montreal distributor. This copy has been trimmed slightly to fit into the binding, affecting the first word of the title at the top, and the imprint at the bottom. A nice lithographic cover depicting the Countess of Dufferin [Hariot Georgina Hamilton-Temple-Blackwood, Marchioness of Dufferin and Ava; 1843 - 1936]. Illustrated ads on the rear cover are for J.L. Orme & Son, music and instrument dealers in Ottawa. Lady Dufferin is notable for having led an initiative to improve medical care for women in British India, which she undertook to do at the request of Queen Victoria.
