7.5 x 4.5 inches. In tan half calf leather binding with watered silk boards. Gilt title to dark green label on blind embossed spine. Speckled edges. In very good condition. Spine slightly darkened. Small marks to spine and boards. Bookplate toy front endpaper. Slight browning to endpapers. Else a very clean and tight copy. 336 pp. A collection of anecdotal stories of life in the English countryside in the early 19th century.
