8vo. 23cm, 292p., decorated title page, volume index, in contemporary half polished dark blue calf and marbled boards, gilt ruled raised bands, gilt spine titles, foxing to endpapers, some slight wear on the edges else very good to fine sound condition (BH). ~ "The County Magazine" was the staff magazine first issued in 1907 by the London and County Bank. The first issue has a foreword ("An Appeal") by Viscount George J. Goschen former British Chancellor of the Exchequer and sometime First Lord of the Admiralty. After a merger with the London and Westminster Bank, the magazine eventually became titled "County and Westminster Magazine". Seller Inventory # 35994
