The Courage to Lead

Leadership is not just about power and position it's about understanding people, defining clear objectives, and driving action toward meaningful results. Through decades of experience as a Navy pilot, an engineer, a plant manager, and a senior executive, I have encountered the complexities of leadership firsthand. I have learned that managing and leading are different but complementary skills.

This book is a reflection on the lessons I have gathered throughout my life. It is for my children, grandchildren, and anyone looking to sharpen their ability to guide teams, inspire employees, and make organizations more effective. If you have ever faced challenges in motivating people, aligning teams, or making difficult decisions, I hope these insights help you find a path forward.
