Lori Tsugawa Whaley is an author, inspirational speaker, and a descendant of the samurai warrior. She graduated with Honors from Portland State University. Whaley, a Baby Boomer, struggled with being 'different', and channeled her energies into understanding, and embracing her Japanese heritage.
