Only the Courageous Wear Gold

Every day we have situations thrown at us where we need to choose how we will respond-whether we get knocked down and knocked out or whether we grab hold and stand strong. - Do we overcome difficulties or do difficulties overcome us? - Can we remain true to the person we want to become or do we allow others to shape us according to what they want? - Do we control our anger or does our anger control us? Only the Courageous Wear Gold is a collection of reflections and stories that remind us that choosing courage is required if we want to experience the best that life has to offer. Sometimes courage requires us to stand alone against the flow. Sometimes courage calls us to stand with others, strengthened by what they provide. These are just some of the considerations the author encourages us to consider in his challenge to live courageously in the day-to-day situations we all face. As he states, Choosing the courage journey is not easy. Sometimes it requires walking alone because none will go with you. But remember, you will be stronger for it and when you find courage, the hardships of the journey will be forgotten. In Only the Courageous Wear Gold, may you discover the thrill of leaping from the waters where everyone else seems content to swim. Remain under the water, crowded among all the others, and you will never know that better swimming awaits. Be courageous and take the risk. GO AHEAD AND LEAP. YOU'LL BE SURPISED AT THE GOLD THAT AWAITS.
