Full olive green leather, boards lined in gilt and with blindstamped edging; spine with raised bands, lettered and decorated in gilt. Marbled endpapers. 252 pp. Illustrated with numorous small woodcuts in the text. The second edition (stated) of third part of this classic mid-19th century work on the instruction of the hearing and speech-impaired. Page 61-2 is mostly torn away. A tight example, light tidemarking to the text block and with some foxing throughout. Rear pastedown torn away at one corner. The binding is rubbed about the egdes and has some spotting; spine gilt is still bright. Bookseller Inventory # E6580
