A Poem by Robert Pollok, with a Memoir of the Author. 276pp. A near-miniature book, bound in red leather titled in gilt. A.e.g. Pollok (1798-1827) was a Scottish poet who died at the age of 29 from tuberculosis. The Course of Time, his ten-book poem in blank verse, is his best known work. WITH THE OWNERSHIP SIGNATURE OF HORATIO GREENOUGH, American sculptor best known for his statue of George Washington in Classical dress. (The signature matches the signature on a Greenough letter in the Smithsonian Archives of American Art). Rubbing to extremities, else fine.

Bryn Mawr Book Store is a non-profit bookstore with general stock. We have used, out-of-print and rare books for sale. We have an inventory of about 30,000. books. Our entire stock has been donated by the public and all proceeds go to a scholarship fund for Bryn Mawr College in Bryn Mawr, PA.
