Court-martial in the Field, Harper's Weekly, R.F. Zogbaum March 2, 1889. 16 x 22 inches. Two-page hand colored woodcut. Archival tape on the verso along the fold and along the bottom edge. Light toning to paper. Vibrant colors. Very Good Condition. Rufus Fairchild Zogbaum (1849--1925) was an American illustrator whose work was popularized in Harper's Weekly and other late 19th century news magazines. He was best known for his military sketches as seen in this 1889 Harper's Weekly. The two-page woodcut was in reference to an article titled "General and Garrison Courts-Martial" in the same March 2, 1889 issue.
