Covenant of Ember and Thorn (Thorn Chronicles)

Covenant of Ember and Thorn A Southern Gothic Epic of Magic, Legacy, and Fire By Jess Rae The flame remembers what the world has forgotten. In the haunted heart of the Hollowlands, ancient magic stirs beneath ash and root. Mira, the last Flamebearer, carries a blade forged in fire and bound by covenant—a relic that burns with the memory of every sacrifice that came before her. When a rift tears open the sky and shadows pour through, Mira must rekindle the forgotten oath that once kept her world safe.

But the Thorn she wields is not a weapon—it is a promise. One that demands everything.

As sacred groves fall and the Hollowlands wither under the weight of dark magic, Mira must rally old allies, awaken lost powers, and face the truth behind her lineage. Between love and loss, fire and ruin, she walks the line between myth and mortality. Because in the end, fire doesn’t choose the worthy. It chooses the willing. Perfect for fans of lush worldbuilding, elemental magic, and slow-burning epic fantasy with mythic resonance, Covenant of Ember and Thorn is a lyrical journey through grief, hope, and the fire that survives us all.
