You feel it, don’t you? The quiet ache of disappointment. The chasm between the soulmate fantasy you were sold and the frustrating reality you live. You’ve tried the communication tricks, the date nights, the relationship advice, yet the core problems persist. You’re left wondering: Is this all there is?
What if the problem isn’t your relationship, but the very definition of love you’re trying to build it on?
In Covenant Heart: A Sacred Anthropology of Marital Love, you will embark on a profound journey to unearth the original, divine design for marriage—a design that has been buried under centuries of cultural distortion, sentimental fantasy, and self-help clichés. This is not another book of tips. This is a radical excavation of the eternal foundations of a love that lasts.
Inside, You Will Discover:
- The Fatal Flaw in "Falling in Love": Why the world’s emotion-centric model sets you up for failure, and how to build your marriage on the unshakeable bedrock of covenant, not fleeting feeling.
- The Master Blueprint from the Architect of Love: A deep, phrase-by-phrase journey through 1 Corinthians 13 that transforms a beautiful wedding reading into a gritty, daily operational manual for your heart and home.
- The Sacred Metaphor That Changes Everything: How your marriage is meant to be a living, breathing echo of Christ’s love for the Church—elevating your daily interactions from mundane chores to cosmic significance.
- Cross-Cultural Wisdom for a Universal Problem: Whether you’re navigating Western individualism, Eastern collectivism, or a blend of both, this book provides a "sacred anthropology" to refine your cultural assumptions against God’s perfect design.
- Hope for the Hopeless: A raw and powerful look at the book of Hosea that reveals a love strong enough to pursue, redeem, and restore, even when betrayal has shattered your world.
This Book is For You If:
- You’re disillusioned by the "happily ever after" myth.
- You feel stuck in a cycle of conflict and resentment.
- You are preparing for marriage and want to build on a foundation that cannot be shaken.
- Your marriage is in crisis and you need a vision for what redemption could look like.
- You long to understand how your cultural background shapes your view of love—and how to align it with God’s truth.
Stop trying to fix a broken model. It’s time to build with the original blueprint.
Covenant Heart is your invitation to exchange the shallow puddles of worldly romance for the deep, life-giving ocean of divine love. It’s time to stop navigating with a faulty map and discover the path to a love that protects, trusts, hopes, and perseveres—a love that never, ever fails.
Your journey to a Covenant Heart begins now.

Store description
We first started out as “The Paperback Exchange,” a chain of physical bookstores where we would part exchange your beloved books for new stories to transport you to faraway places. However, as shopping started to evolve to online shops and marketplaces, we bid our stores goodbye to become “PBShop.” This transition has only allowed us to blossom as we now ship thousands of titles to book lovers across the globe. We pride ourselves in being a community of local book lovers which allows our passion and devotion to shine in everything we do. In 2020 we not only celebrated our 20th birthday but our 1st birthday as being completely employee owned after becoming an E.O.T in September 2019. We are proud to be different and embrace standing apart on a book mountain by working from a virtual inventory which allows us to provide thousands of books that may be difficult to get for your bookshelf or your studies. Working with a number of different suppliers allows us to explore other avenues such as puzzles, sheet music and even stationery so we really do have something for everyone. Life is about being versatile in all realms of existence. If this is your first visit or you are a returning customer, we would like to welcome you to the PBShop family, for there is no friend as loyal as a book. We are a company who put our customers at the centre of everything we do as we understand the importance of reading because once you learn to read, you will forever be free. There are a whole lot of things in this world of ours that we are yet to explore, which is why we will forever inspire curious minds.…
